Show Recent Bride ' Honored at Mapleton Party The Mapleton Church was the scene of a well planned bridal shower for pretty Sharon Roundy Mattinson Friday, September 28. She was married to Dennis Mattinson, Mat-tinson, son of Mrs. Evelyn Mattinson Mattin-son and the late George Mattinson of Payson on September 22 in Provo. Sharon is the attractive daughter of .. Mr. and Mrs. Don Roundy of Mapleton. At the shower Sharon greeted her many friends and relatives in a smart embossed cotton in a pretty pret-ty shade of pink. It was enhanced with a corsage consisting of a pink mum circled by deep pink rosebuds. Receiving guests with her were her mother, who was attractive at-tractive in grey and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Mattinson who was charming in navy. Their corsages were white carnations surrounded by feathered pink carnations. Linda Burr registered guests. Refreshments were supervised by Mrs. Inez Harmer, Lucy Roundy and LaVerl Young who were assisted as-sisted by Helen Harmer, Rose Marie Halverson, Myrna Harmer, Karen Hansen, Anna Dale Holm, Beverly Hansen, Margie Warren, LaPreal Hansen and Peggy Dallin. Gifts were arranged - by Josie King, Marian Roundy and Anna Dale Holm. A grandmother to the groom, Mrs. Amy Mattinson who is 81 years or age was an honored guest. A very interesting program was introduced by Mrs. Mabel Hansen. The opening prayer was given by Amanda Binks; vocal duet by Rayona Hatfield and Gay Bennet, accompanied by Sharon Jensen; vocal duet by Mrs. Grace Norwood Nor-wood and Mrs. Joyce Bird, who were accompanied by Norma Cox; reading by Mrs. Lillian Binks; pantomime by Sharon Jensen and Bonnie DeGraw; piano solo, Pat Perry; closing prayer by Genevieve Gene-vieve Whiting.
