P .'i' i" Vt l if - .- j 1 1:7 f j j i J f 3 f - 4 " ' Mr. and Mrs. Clark Allred, nee Miss Gwenda Hafen Couple Honored at Pretty Reception Following Marriage at Stake House a In early evening wedding rites, which took place Thursday, June 14, pretty Miss Gwenda Hafen, daughter of Mrs. Hazel Hafen of this city and Clark Allred, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Allred of Spanish Fork, exchanged marriage vows. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Leo Crandall of the Eighth ward, in the lobby of the Stake House at 7 p.m., and later the same evening the newlyweds received re-ceived their many relatives and friends at a reception in their honor. The bride 'chose a beautiful silk net over taffetta for her wedding gown which was designed with lace strapless bodice and bolero. White lace mitts and finger-tip veil of nylon net which fell from a bonnet-shaped shirred headpiece completed com-pleted her attire. She carried a pretty bridal bouquet of deep-pink rose-buds. Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. James I. Taylor. Tay-lor. Miss Lorna Hafen, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Mrs. Frank Cowan, and Miss Norma Nor-ma Jean Bills were bridesmaids. They wore pastel formals and car- ried nose-gay bouquets. Dale All-red, All-red, brother of the groom, was best man. Also in the receiving line were the mother of the bride and her brother, Dean Hafen and the parents par-ents of the groom. Mrs. Hafen and Mrs. Allred were each in a black formal with red-rose-bud corsages. The guest book was in charge of Mrs. Donald Leek of Spanish Fork and Mrs. Dale Allred, Mrs. Ruth Tripp and Mrs. Dean Hafen arranged ar-ranged the gifts, assisted by Gordon Gor-don and Brent Allred, Diana and Bill Allred and Ester Hafen. Mrs. Joseph Hafen of Provo, aunt of the bride, was in charge of refreshments, which were served ser-ved by the Misses Joyce Ollerton, Maurine Bird, Mary Catherine Wills and Maxine Packard, all in formal attire. ring th Program numbers were Program numbers were furnished furnish-ed during the evening by Mary Wood, who gave vocal numbers, accompanied by Miss Norma Brockbank and by Billy Pratt, who also gave vocal selections, accompanied ac-companied by Miss Brockbank.
