X x- r " i , . ; . ; - Mrs. Sherrell Frandsen, nee Bonnie Lee Reception Honors New Mr. and Mrs. Sherell Frandsen Wed Fri., June 15 Elaborate in every detail was the beautiful wedding wed-ding reception Friday evening honoring newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Sherrell Frandsen, who were married in a double finer ceremonv the A same evening in the Stake House. Bishop Bert Strong of the Sixth ward officiated before immediate relatives and close friends. The attractive bride, formerly Miss Bonnie Lee, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lee and her husband is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Vance Frandsen of Provo. The couple received their many guests in the spacious lobby of the stake house in a veritable garden of roses and a profusion of summer sum-mer flowers were used throughout. In a georgeous gown of heavy brocaded satin, floor length with puff sleeves and rows of deep lace trim, the bride made a pretty picture. pic-ture. Her full shoulder-length veil and a close fitting off-the-face hat with rolled brim completed her attire. She held a bridal bouquet of red rose-buds and stephanotis tied with white satin ribbon. Attending as matron of honor was Mrs. Robert Lee, while a sister, sis-ter, Colene Lee was maid of honor and Mrs. Weston Frandsen and Darlene Oster were birdesmaids. They were all attired in pastel formals and carried heart-shaped all-white bouquets with white ribbon rib-bon bows. Weston Frandsen was best man for his brother and the little flower girls were Cheryl Frandsen and Kay Frandsen. Parents Par-ents of the newlyweds were also in the receiving line, Mrs. Lee being be-ing attired in beige and ' Mrs. Frandsen in blue. Their corsages were rose-buds and gardenias. In a well arranged program, Russell Hales acted as master of ceremonies and announced the following fol-lowing numbers: musical reading, Kathryn Hales, accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Blanch Hales of Spanish Fork; reading, Darrell Bradford; vocal solo, Mrs. Hugh Peterson of Provo, accompanied by Mrs. lone Palfreyman of Salt Lake City; accordian selection, Brent Rigtrup; a toast to the bride and groom, Mrs. Ella Reynolds; vocal and piano selections, the Bramall Bram-all sisters; reading, Marie Huff of Spanish Fork, accompanied by Mrs. Thelma McKell. Mrs. lone Palfreyman played background music on the organ, while the guests arrived. Acting as ushers during the evening were Robert Lee, Don Watts and Calvin Frandsen, while Mrs Blanche Hales was hostess. The refreshments were served by Joan Penington, Jeanine Wight-man Wight-man Joyce Sumsion, Ha Ann Groesbeck and Tamera Ashby received re-ceived the gifts while Mrs. Milton Groesbeck, Mrs. Sherman Neil-son Neil-son Miss Ada Smith and Mrs. Aft'on Frandsen assisted m arrangement. ar-rangement. Allan Blake Lee was in charge of the guest book. Shortly after their reception, the newlyweds left on a honeymoon trip to California and Mexico. The bride chose for her going-away outfit, an orchid color gabardine suit with pink accessories. Upon their return, the couple will make their home in Salt Lake r.it.v. |
