Show SERVICES HELD FOR VICTIM AUTO ACCIDENT Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in the Grandview chapel Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon for Benjamin F. Riding, 48, an employee of the Columbia Steel company, who was fatally injured Saturday night when he was struck by an automobile auto-mobile while crossing the highway near Park Ro-She, north of the city. According to investigating officers, offi-cers, Frank Metcalf and Harmer Nebeker, the accident victim stepped step-ped from a truck to cross the highway high-way over to Park Ro-She, when a car driven by Hollis Hutchings, 21, of this city, struck him. Hutchings Hutch-ings told investigating officers he did not see the man in time to avoid the accident. He was rushed to Dr. George Anderson's office, but was pronounced dead upon arrival. ar-rival.
