Show Ladies Literary Club Hears Final Topic Mrs. Wm. L. Schreiner gave interesting in-teresting exerpts from the book, "The Many Lives of Modern Women," Wo-men," by Gruenberg and Krech, for members of the Ladies Literary Liter-ary club when they met Thursday evening of last week at the home of Mrs. Wm. H. Brown. . The topic was the final one in the year's study of Distinguished Women. Adding a note of interest to the program also was the report given by Mrs. Helen Anderson, club member, on her attendance at an education convention in. Washington, Washing-ton, D.C., from which she had just returned. The meeting was in charge of Mrs. Berton Groesbeck, president, who announced the Mothers Day program and luncheon on Saturday Satur-day evening, May 5, at the Social Center in Spanish Fork, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Refreshments were served by the hostess, assisted by her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Dale Allred, preceding the program. |
