Show fining Magnate Buried in Eureka Burial services for Walter Fitch, 83, distinguished mining executive who died Friday in Salt Lake, were held Monday afternoon in the private family cemetery in Eureka. Pallbearers included Patrick J. Fennell, C. E. Huish, Harry J. Pitts, Dr. W. A. Robinson, G. H. Wigton, all or Eureka, ana Frank Perkins, Salt Lake City. Recitation of the rosary was conducted Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. Fred Johnson, where he died. Requiem Re-quiem mass was celebrated t'his morning at 10 a. m. in the Cathedral Cathed-ral of the Madeleine. Following this, the funeral cortege proceded to St. Patrick's church in Eureka. Mr. Fitch was president of the Chief Consolidated Mining company com-pany and director of the Utah chapter of the American Mining congress. |
