Show W. M. ROYLANCE SERVICES HELD Well atended funeral services for W. Melvin Roylance of Hazelton, Idaho, former resident of this city and a well known early contractor of this vicinity, who died last Thursday mornine: at a Twin Falls, Idaho, hospital of a heart attack, were held Sunday, Sun-day, in the Third ward chapel. Bishop William Witney was in charge. The speakers at the services serv-ices were Lovell Mendenhall of Mapleton and Peter Nielson former for-mer bishop of the Third ward. Music was given by Mrs. Guy Brown and Louise Childs, Mr. Morton of Provo: Miss Phylis Smart and Miss Marian Smart and Miss Hannah Rowland. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetary. Mr. Roylance was born in Springville, in 1865. He did considerable con-siderable contract work throughout through-out the western states during his residence here. He moved to Idaho about 1917 and there became be-came a successful farmer. Since the death cf his wife, Mrs. Ruth Pierce Roylance. in 1933, he had spent most of the winter months in Springville. He is survived by a daughter and two sons, Mrs. Philda Finlcy of Springville: Lamar and Grant Roylance. Hazelton, Idaho.; 5 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Gert-rude Hanford, Springville; and a brother, Moses Roylance, Paul, Idaho. |
