Show SERVICES FOR W. R. HOPLA CONDUCTED Impressive and largely attended attend-ed funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in the Mapleton ward chapel Wednesday tfternoon, for William Wil-liam Robert Hopla, 23 of Mapleton, Maple-ton, who died Sunday, following a shotgun accident at his home in Mapleton. Bishop Frank Jensen Jen-sen had the services in charge. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery directed by Claudin funeral fu-neral home. The young man was born in Mapleton, August 18, 1915, a son of David and LUlie Erickson Hop-la. Hop-la. He attended the Mapleton public school and graduated from the Springville high school. He was also a former student at business bus-iness college in Salt Lake City. During high school, he took an active part in Future Farmer work. He was also an active L. D. S. church member Sid was a ward teacher at Mapleton at the time of his death. He is survived by his parents, a brother, Cluff Hopla and four sisters, Lenora, Ova Dale, Carma and RaNae Hopla of Mapleton; a grandmother, Mrs. Annie Erickson Erick-son of Springville. |
