Show LAST RITES FOR MRS. DALTON Funeral Services Are Held for Mrs. Jane Elizabeth 1 Dalton. Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Dalton, age 65, wife of, 0. E. Dalton of Spring-vlllie, Spring-vlllie, died very suddenly at her home Saturday evening, March 22. Mrs. Dalton had just returned from her brother's, Dimick Huntington, Hunt-ington, and was asking her husband to go back with her to the Huntington Hunt-ington home to spend the evening when she dropped lifeless to the floor in the middle of the room. Heart trouble was the cause of her death. Funeral services were held Tuesday Tues-day afternoon in the Second ward chapel. Every available space in the building, including the aisles were filled with benches and chairs to accommodate the large audience. Bishop J. F. Bringhurst was in charge. A male quartet composed of Walter and Eli Robinson of Provo and M. E. Crandall, Jr. and Elmo Coffmnn sang, "Oh, Eyes That Are Weary and Hearts That Are Sore. The invocation was offered of-fered by John S. Boyer, Sr. Bishop G. It. JIayeock, Thomas N. Taylor of l'rovo, president of the Utah stake, and Bishop J. F. Bringhurst spoke of the beautiful life of Mrs. Ballon and gave impressive words of comfort and consolation to the bereaved. During the service Miss Lelu Boyer and Elmo Cuff man accompanied ac-companied on the cello by Melvin Done, sang a duet, "Come Unto Me and Host," and Elmo Col'fman sang a solo, "Oil My Father." The closing clos-ing musical number was sang by the. male quartet, "Just Beyond." The benediction was pronounced by A. W. Harincr of the ward bishopric. The floral offering was profuse. Tile interment took place in the Springville City cemetery under the direction of the Wheeler Mortuary. Mor-tuary. The grave was dedicated by George L. Hyde of the ward bishopric. Besides her husband Mrs. Dalton is survived by the following children; chil-dren; .Mrs. M. F. Miner, Mrs. S. C. Whittaker, Miss Hilda Dalton and Oliver Dalton, all of Springville; Eugene Dalton, who is studying medicine at the Jefferson Medical college in Philadelphia ; and Mrs. George Russell, who is with her husband ntteudiug school at Berkeley. Berke-ley. Calif. Eugene and Mrs. Russell Rus-sell were unable to come for the fuueral. She is also survived by tl'e following brothers uud sisters: Jiishon O. B. Huntington, Dimick Huntington, Mrs. Olive Chitds, and Sirs. Anna Mendenhall, all of Springville. |
