Show SPRINGVILLE TO ADVERTISE CITY Kiwanis Club to Stress Advertising Adver-tising of Springville's Resources. "Itunning a business without advertising is like winking at a pretty girl in the dark. You know what you are doing but nobody else does." Are Springville's natural recourses recour-ses and commercial advantages known as they should be? Is Springville advertising and giving the necessary publicity that is vital to a healthy and prosperous growth? These are the questions under discussion by the members of the Springville Kiwanis club at the regular luncheon urogram at the Springville high school Thursday Thurs-day evening, March 20. The subject sub-ject was introduced by toastmas-ter toastmas-ter G. L. Barron. He was fallowed fallow-ed in the discussion by Ray L. Done, John R. Anderson, and M. O. Packard. It was recognized as evident that this vital problem ! and its solution is worthy of a great deal of consideration. Mayor G. R. Maycock announnced the Steel Day celebration that is to take place June 7 and invited the Springville Kiwanis club as one of Springville's organizations to help make this celebration a great success. In reporting the Springville , Building and Loan society project, IT. T. Reynolds said that move than $20,000 worth of stock had teen subscribed. Ed Clyde asked the support of the club in regard to getting a road through from A. O. Child's corner to the cement road on the state highway. The matter was referred to the committee on public impi elements. ele-ments. Community singing was led by M. E. Crandall Jr., Ferry J. Faux of Spanish Fork rendered two solos.
