Show PUBLIC FUNERAL HELD FOR PAYSON PIONEER PAYSON". March 7. The first public funeral in Pay son. since the Influenza epidemic epi-demic was held Thursday in the First ward chapel for William H. Pickering-, who died Monday at the Provo General hospital, following an operation. Bishop J. A. LoveWs officiated. The speakers were President Hyrum Lem-mon, Lem-mon, William Kitchen and Bishop A. Manwaring- of Provo. Music was furnished fur-nished by the ward choir. Invocation was offered by Jesse S. Taylor and the benediction bene-diction was pronounced by Joseph S. Bills. Interment was In the Pay son cemetery. Many beautiful flora! offerings offer-ings were ii. evidence. The pallbearers were Lee Elmer. Dave furtis. William Wlprtall.
