Spanish Fork Pioneers Are Entertained by Members of Their Family. Special to The Tribune. SPANISH FORK, March 14. Mr. and Mrs. James Vincent, pioneers of this city, were given a birthday party Friday of last week by their children and grandchildren, grand-children, it being Mr. Vincent's ninetieth birthday anniversary. Mr. Vincent was born In Kackheath, England. March 7, 1S29, and his wife, Mary Holmes Vincent, was born June 12, I.S29, in Crastwiek, England. They came to tils country as converts to Mormon-ism, Mormon-ism, crossing the plains in 1SG4, and have resided in Spanish Fork and vicinity continuously con-tinuously ever eince. The aged couple always have been very industrious and hard-working, and are feeble now. They reside with their eldest daughter." Mr. and Mrs. "Vincent have three children, Mrs. Charlotte Singleton, Mrs. Joseph Crump and Willard Vincent. They also have twenty-six grandchildren ; and thirty great-grandchildren. The day was spent socially, and both dinner and tea were served to nearly thirty guests. The table decorations were ferns and sweet peas. Besides the relatives In this immediate vicinity, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Singleton, Mrs. J. B. Batiev.and Mrs. L. D. Cook of Salt Lake and Mrs. D. L. Clark of Murray were present. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. William McKell and Mrs. Charles Howe of this city. |
