Show Jess Labrum Dies At Lapoint Home Following Stroke LAPOINT Funeral services were held today in the Lapoint ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for Jess Labrum, 67, who died at his home of a stroke, under the direction di-rection of Bishop L. J. Walker. Mr. Labrum was born Feb. 4, 1888, in Sandy, a son of Thomas G. and Maria Gough Labrum. He married Belle Brown and they were later divorced, and on Oct. 2, 1943, he married Pearl Jobe Labrum. Survivors include his widow, five sons and daughters from his first marriage, Victor, Eugene, Oregon; Mrs. Herbert (Velda) Young, Roosevelt; Gordon, Bell Gardens, Calif.; Jess LeRoy, Draper; Drap-er; Mrs. Max (Flora) Daley, Grand Junction, Colo.; a daughter by his second marriage, Twila Labrum, Lab-rum, Lapoint. Three brothers, five sisters, William, Midvale; Ralph, Pasadena, Calif.; Alva, Seattle, Wash.; Mary Jane Hadlock, Green Valley, Calif.; Marie Caldwell, Portland, Ore.; Alice Dickey, Bak-ersfield, Bak-ersfield, Calif.; Nettie Labrum, Sandy and Ollive Harrison, Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Nineteen grandchildren and three-great-grandchildren also survive. sur-vive. Burial was in the Roosevelt cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. |
