DEATHS "j GRANT WILSON FIELDS Funeral services were heid Monday at 2:30 p. m. in the Baptist Church of Roosevelt for Grant Wilson Fields, 36, who died in the Roosevelt hospital Sunday at 8:15 a. m., following a brief illness. Rev. William G. Trow conducted the services. He was born Feb. 28, in Grove, Okla, son of U. Grant and Ethel Wilson Fields. He came to Utah in 1936. He married Imagene Holmes Nov. 4. 1936. in Salt Lake City. He worked four years for the U. S. Indian Service, which took him to agencies in Nevada. He also was employed two years at Fort Douglas, then moved to Vernal, where he operated a filling station five .years. In December,' 1949, he moved to Roosevelt, where he built Grant's Market, which he was operating at the time of his death He was a member of the Christian Church in Grove. Surviving are his widow; two daughters and a son: Audrey Jean, Douglas Robert and Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Louise Fields, Roosevelt; his mother, Southwest City, Mo.; a brother, Kenneth M. Fields, Verona. Mo., and a sister, Mr?. Doris Woodward, Anderson, Mo. The' body of Mr. Fields was taken to Southwest City, Mo., for additional services and burial. bur-ial.
