Show NEW BABY SON Mrs. Irvin Johnson has returned home with her new son, from the Duchesne Health Center. The young man arrived' May 27 at 7:26 p.m. and weighed in a 6 lbs. 13 oz. He will receive the name of Irvin William, Jr. We are happy hap-py to report that all concerned are doing well even the father. Mr. and Mrs, R. S. Lusty traveled trav-eled to Wanship, Coalville, Salt Lake City, Heber and Duchesne for Memorial Day. Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans entertained en-tertained 25 relatives at a picnic luncheon at their home Wednesday Wednes-day evening. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Evans of Bountiful, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Evans Ev-ans and family of Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Alden Evans and' family of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Gor-don Evans and children "of Salt Lake City, Mr, and Mrs. Chad Evans, Keith and Sherrie. Mrs. Porter Merrell and daughters. daugh-ters. Cheryl and Sandra, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, visited at the Jack Gilbert Gil-bert home Friday. Mrs. Merrell is much improved in health. Her friends sincerely wish her a constant con-stant and speedy recovery. Scotf Lusty, wife and' family, Ruth Evans and babies spent Memorial Day at Upalco with Mr. and Mrs. Harley Evans and family. Gam Gilbert, assisted by Gayle Larsen, Gilbert Wyaskit and Arlo Richens, moved his cattle to the summer range this week. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Shields and daughters of Roosevelt were dinner din-ner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mar-vin G. Shields Thursday. Leah Richens and son Dallas of Murray visited with home folks Wednesday, Pauline Poulsen of Duchesne, visited at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Milt Larsen, Wednesday. Orville Larsen and sisters Donna Don-na Larsen, and Norma Hadden, attended church Sunday. Donna has completed, her first year at the A. C. at Logan and Orville has been enrolled at the B. Y. U. at Provo. They will spend the summer in Washington with their parents, Mr and Mrs. James O. Larsen. They expect to return to their respective schools next year. Arden Evans and sons, Fred, Laird, and Baird, Scott Lusty and son Evan, Clark Lusty, R. S. Lusty, and Robert Tanner attended atten-ded the stock show at Vernal Thursday and Friday. All the boys had exhibits at the show. , Fred, Laird and Evan exhibited beef calves, Laird a pig and Robert a Jersey calf. Elden Shields of Tooele, and Grant Shields from Orem, visited with their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields Friday. Fri-day. Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans and children spent Friday evening at the home of Chad's father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Evans of Vernal. The event was a family get-together |
