Show Honored Saturday On Her Birthday Mrs. Jack Giles was honored Saturday afternoon when members mem-bers of the Young Matrons club surprised her at the home of Mrs. Rex Lamb. The occasion celebrated his birthday anniversary. anniver-sary. Present were Mrs. Ted Monks, Mrs. Antone Uresk, Mrs. John Uresk, Mrs. Wm. Preece, Jr., Mrs. Roy Mott, Mrs. Lamb and the guest of honor. Delicious refreshments re-freshments were served. Melvin Jakeman has been visiting vis-iting at the home of his grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Broome. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence Bywater came from Salt Lake City Saturday to spend the week-end at the Broome home. They took Melvin back to Salt Lake with them. De Vere Hancock, accompanied accompan-ied by his mother, Mrs. W. C. Hancock and his sister, Mrs. Clyde Howells and children, went to Provo Saturday to return re-turn the Howells family to their home Mrs. Hancock returned with her son for a longer visit here. Mr. and Mrs. Denzel Hemphill Hemp-hill have received announcement of the arrival of a baby daughter, daugh-ter, born June 27, to Mr. and Mrs. William Orr, of Riverton. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford E. Johnson, John-son, former Myton residents, visited vis-ited here last week, returning Friday to their home in Boise, Idaho. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gingell en-! en-! joyed a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gingell and daughter, of Grand Junction, Colorado, last week. Mr. and M.rs. Nephi Porritt and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs Levi Porritt. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Porritt, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Fullmer, Georgeanna Fullmer and Dixie Oberg left Saturday for Ogden to attend the Porritt family reunion in Ogden canyon Sunday. They returned home Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Nebeker moved Saturday to the Stanley i Nebeker farm on South Myton I bench. They have been residing I in Fort Duchesne. I Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R Preece, long time residents of Myton, moved to Roosevelt Monday to reside in the home thev have owned there for several years. Mr. Preece retired July 1 as iwatermaster of the Uintah In-idian In-idian Irrigation Service. Their (host of friends here will miis i them. |
