Hilda Farnsworth QUILTING BEE HELD A quilting bee was held atthe home of Mrs. Charles Alexander Wednesday, Out-of-town quilters included Jennie Brotherson, Leora Oman, both of Boneta; Ethel Fisher Fish-er and Florence lessen of Alton-ah; Alton-ah; Evelyn Bleazard, Iris Lou Lindsay of Talmage. Mt. Home quilters were Thelma Lindsay, Dolly Lyon, Lois Bleazard and Emily Killian. . Butch Fisher of Vernal has been visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Killian, the past two weeks. Saturday they took him home and brought back their daughter, Carolyn. Carolyn had been visiting her sister, Mrs. Reva Boren of Vernal. Mrs. Ron Farnsworth was admitted ad-mitted to the Roosevelt Hospital Tuesday, July 10. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Johnson of Van Nuyes, Calif., were in Mt. Home visiting relatives, the Stevenson Stev-enson families. Guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Fitkau of Roosevelt weTe Michael, Karen and Scott, children of Bishop and Mrs. John Richards. Karen took sick while there and had to return re-turn home. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Farnsworth attended a Johnson family reunion re-union at the George Washington Memorial Park in Parley's Canyon. Can-yon. On their return they brought Mrs. Farnsworth's aunt, Mrs. Lena Murphy, of Salt Lake City for a visit Mrs. William Gibbs and Mrs. Orvila Frenett of Salt Lake City spent the last week with their father and sisteTs, Mr. E. J. Mitchell Mit-chell and May, and Mrs. Jack Bleazard. Ray Marchant and his mother, Mrs. Lovina Marchant, were overnight over-night visitors in Salt Lake Cify. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Hanberg spent two days last week with their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bleazard. On Sunday, the family picnicked in Strawberry Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Shirts were also present. Home Demonstration Agent of Duchsne, Miss Mabel Morrell, was in Mt. Home Wednesday testing pressure cookers. . . Mr. and Mrs. Fay Miles returned return-ed home Tuesday from a vacation trip to the North. They went to Denver, Glacier National Park in Mont, and attended LDS church services at Cardston, Canada. On their return home they came down through Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Bleazard went to Salt Lake City to meet their nephew, Steve Norton of Los Angeles, who plans on spending his vacation with them. The Thayne family held their reunion at Fairmont Park in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Myrtle Thayne and Mrs. Hazel Farnsworth of Talmage attended'. They went out with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Farnsworth. |
