Show yj Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Mrs. Ethel C. Hansen Funeral services were held Tuesday Tues-day afternoon, July 23, at 2 o'clock in, the Alpine Stake tabernacle for Mrs. Ethel C. Hansen, 61, who died Saturday, Satur-day, July 20, from the effects of goitre. goi-tre. Bishop Joseph H. Storrs was in charge of the services which opened with the Second Ward Relief Society quartet singing "BehoM 'Tis Even Tide", after -which Patriarch Warren War-ren B. Smith offered the invocation-The invocation-The next musical number was "Cast Thy Bread Upon the Waters" sung by the quartet. Bishop James T. Gardner spoke, conveying many words of consolei-ment consolei-ment to those in bereavement. Mrs. W. R. Halliday sang a vocal selection "A Perfect Day," after which President S. L. Chipman spoke- Closing remarks were made by Bishop' Storrs, followed by the Relief Society quartet singing "Abide With Me." The benediction was pronounced by W. S. Chipman. Interment vas made in the city cemetery, where Bishop Lot. Robinson Robin-son dedicated the grave. Mrs. Hansen was born in March, 1 1868, and has lived in American. Fork practically all her life. : ; Besides her husban'd, Parley P. Hansen, she is survived by the following fol-lowing step-children: Ix'slle Hansen, Gordon Hansen, M'ahlin Hansen, Mrs. j Mae Clark of Salt Uake City, Lloyd Hansen or Monlicello, Mrs. Arsena Robinson and Mrs- Wanda Varney of this city. The following brothers and sisters also survive her: Fletcher Fletch-er Cromplon of American Fork, Thomas Crompton of Driggs, Idaho, DeWitte Crompton of Garland and Francis Crompton of Provo. |
