The family prayer was given by Gilbert Cook, the invocation bv Bradley J. Cook, the benediction by Darold Henry and the dedica tion of the grave by Jack E. Cook. The prelude and postlude was played by Anne Fisher. A vocal solo was performed by Ieslie Hughs and a piano solo was by Foline Marchand. Speakers included Helen Hall, Gilbert E. Cook, and Bishop Warburton. May Moble Aston PLEASANT GROVE-Earla GROVE-Earla Bernice Beerup Cook, 68, of Pleasant Grove, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 1982 at the American Fork Hospital. She was. born on Sept. 21, 1913 in Franklin, 111. to Andrew Jackson and Neaty Wilkerson Beerup. She married Gilbert James Cook on Nov. 15, 1930 in Los Angeles, Calif. She was a member of the LDS church and lived in the Pleasant Grove 6th Ward. She had served in the Relief Society and Primary. She had lived in Los Angeles where she attended schools before moving to Utah after her marriage. She was an active member of the ladies auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3372. She had served as Lodge Mother, trustee, membership chairman and in several other positions. Survivors include her husband of Pleasant Grove; three sons and a daughter, Barbara Mae Larsen, Los Angeles, Calif.; Gilbert E. Cook, Santaquin; Richard A. Cook, Orem; Ralph E. Cook, Pleasant Grove; 20 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Alberta Kunsman of San Jacinto, Calif. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary. Buriul was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Bishop Dale Warburton of the Pleasant Grove Sixth Ward. Pallbearers were Brad, Craig, Phil, Chris, Mike and Rick MAY NOBLE ASTON LINDON- May Noble Aston. 82. of Lindon died Thursday, Sept. 2, 1982 at the Alpine Valley Care Center in Pleasant Grove. She was born May 27, 1900 in Pleasant Grove to Donald and Elizabeth Patterson Noble. She married Schell Aston on Aug. 27, 1918 in Provo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 25, 1963. She was active in the LDS hurch and lived in the Lindon Fifth Ward where she had served as a Relief Society visiting teacher. Survivors include a daugher and five sons, Mrs. George (Zora) clark, West Jordan; Theo and Don Aston, both of Lindon; Horace Aston, American Fork; Maurice Aston, Bluff-dale; Bluff-dale; John Blaine Aston, Mapleton; sister, Aileen Mills, Salt Lake City; 23 grandchildren, 30 great grand children and two great great grandchildren. grand-children. A son, Max, and a daughter, Blanch, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 11 a.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary; Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.' Pallbearers were grandsons, grand-sons, Clint, Paul, Michael, Danny, Robert and Brian Aston, Bill and Dennis Manning. The family prayer was given by Brian Aston, the invocation was by Perry Aston, and the benediction was by Robert Aston. Dedication of the grave was by Joe Swenson. The prelude and postlude were played by Shari Aston who also played a piano solo. A vocal duet was performed by Audra Hooley and Annie Smith accompanied by Cheri Hansen. The life sketch was given by Dorothella Blanchard; speakers were David Aston and Bishop Gillman.
