Center, American Fork. All friends and relatives are invited in-vited to attend. Iverson was born in Kanosh, Utah, May 16, 1897, to Erastus and Emma Wheadon Watts Iverson. As a youth, he enlisted in the Army and spent a year in France in 1917. He married Haydee Jackson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Sept. 6, 1922 and they made their home in American Fork. Iverson worked at the Utah State Training School for 29 years, where he was head chef. His first wife died in 1965, and he married Zina S. Sleman May 26 in 1967. An active member of the LDS Church, Iverson has served as Elders Quorum President, High Priest secretary, and twice as High Lazell (Jack) Iverson Priest Group Leader. He worked in the Salt Lake Temple for seven years and in the Provo Temple for nine years. He has one sister, Afton Holm-stead, Holm-stead, and one brother, Roy Iverson. Both live in the Salt Lake area. |
