Show Funeral Rites for Elvin L. Wright Held on Tuesday Impressive funeral rites conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. for Elvin LaVere Wright, who died Saturday at an Orem rest home. Services were presided over by Bishop Lewis Harmer at the Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary. Invocation was offered by Lester Les-ter O. Pehrson. Speakers who offered of-fered words of encouragement to the family and expounded gospel truths were Thomas Fenton and David West. Music for the occasion was two duets, "My Lord is Waiting in His Garden" and "In the Garden" Gar-den" by Jeanne Walker and Jo-Ann Jo-Ann Brady, accompanied by Beverly Bev-erly Christeson. Benediction was pronounced by Paul Adamson. Interment was made in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery where Joseph Peterson offered the dedicatorial prayer. Elvin LaVere Wright was born in Pleasant Grove, Nov. 15, 1909 to Franklin P. and Josephine Brown Wright. He was a member mem-ber of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Josephine Pehrson, Pleasant Grove; brothers, sisters, Mrs. El-'. raer (Dorothea) Manning, Lehi; Mrs. A. W. (Maurine) Kinder, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Wayne (Thelma) Martell, Pleasant Grove Lester O. Pehrson, Joseph J., Mrs. Faye Thomas, Mrs. Sidney (June) Manning, all Salt Lake City. |
