Show Funeral Rites Held Monday for Louisea J. Hunt Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 9, 1970 at 1:00 p.m. for Louisea Carolina Jones Jon-es Hunt, 85, who died last Friday Fri-day at her home in Pleasant Grove after a long illness. The services were held in the Timpanogos Stake Center under the direction of Lyle V. Thack-er, Thack-er, counselor in the Second Ward bishopric. Speakers at the services who told of the long and useful life of Mrs. Hunt were Donna O. Brock and Arnold Hunt. A life sketch was given by Lois Nelson. Hazel Bullock and Viola Beers sang a vocal duet "Face to Face" accompanied by Catherine Cath-erine Rees and Elwin Hunt sang a vocal solo. Prayers were given by Glen Waite, James Hunt and Allen Hunt, and the grave was dedicated ded-icated by Wendell Glen Waite in the Enterprise Cemetery. Graveside services were also held at Enterprise, Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 12 noon, under the direction of Bishop Clair Hunt of the Enterprise Second Ward. Pallbearers were Robert Hunt, Rodney Nelson, David Leavitt, Loren Hunt, Wayne Ferguson, and James Hall. Mrs. Hunt was born March 26, 1885, in Enoch, Iron County, a daughter of John James and Louisa Carolina Dover Jones. She married Jefferson George Hunt March 14, 1905, in the St. George LDS Temple. He died May 10, 1951. They lived in Enterprise during their early married years. Mrs. Hunt moved mov-ed to Pleasant Grove several years ago. She was an active LDS Church worker, especially in the Relief Society. Her hobby was needlework, and she made beautiful quilts for her family and friends. Survivors include four sons and one daughter, Mrs. Donald S. (Hilda) Summerhays, Stockton, Stock-ton, Calif.; Miles J. Hunt, PI. Grove; M. Dover Hunt, Orem; Keith J. Hunt, Henderson, Nev. and Dean Hunt, Tooele. 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, one brother and four sisters, William Jones, St. George; Mrs. George (Lilli Maud) Tate, Central, Washington Washing-ton County; Mrs. P. D. (Viola) Canfield, Provo; Mrs. Heber (Hattie) Trisbary, Cedar City; Mrs. Evan (Vivian) Williams, Alpine. Nov. 7, a boy to Franklin D. and Cynthia Frederick Jaynes of Orem. Other patients at the hospital during the week were Marlene C. Walker, Ruby Fowles, Mary Lou Larsen, Gladys Richins, Cleone Shields, Blaine H. Huntsman, Mary Wootton, Justin Jus-tin John Baxter, Lawrence Kirk, Connie Lee Taylor, Donald Don-ald J. Rutledge. Larry Vern Evans, Margaret Stoker, Eugene Atkinson, Sonja Gish, Joseph H. Nerdin, Barbara Bar-bara Smith, Hal Haycock, and Floyd E. Cossey. |
