Show Sal. open house to honor Thelma Freeman on birthday liiliilii , "i, ' K "? - '' - i 1 lis llllltlSM' An open house is being planned for Thelma Freeman who will celebrate her 80th birthday on Dec. 12, at the Timpanogos Stake Center, 800 North 100 West, Pleasant Grove, from 2-4 p.m. Thelma was born in Salt Lake City to Ronald J. and Hazel Rebentisch Goldsborough. She moved to Pleasant Grove when she was five years old. She had four sisters and two brothers, three sisters are still living. She married William Freeman on June 19, 1929 in the Salt Lake Temple. They served an L.D.S. mission to Alabama and Mississippi He died in 1966. She married Richard Remele and they were later divorced. Thelma served in the Manila Relief Society Presidency for 14 years and enjoyed attending the temple often. She has lived in the Pleasant Grove 15th Ward for 10 years. - She has served meals for the Pleasant Grove Senior Citizen group five days a week for 20 years. All relatives and friends are invited in-vited to come visit Thelma and help her celebrate her special birthday. The family requests no gifts please. Thelma Freeman |
