Show Lindon Old Folks Day and Ward Reunion Big Success The aged people of the Lindon ward were royally entertained Washington's Wash-ington's Birthday at their annual Old Folks day and ward reunion. Shortly before 11 a, m. the old people above 60 and all other ward members above 16, met at the Lindon chapel and enjoyed a hand shaking and renewal of acquaintance. The following program was rendered at that time: Singing, with Mrs. Alta Walker in charge "Come, Come Ye Saints"; Invocation, In-vocation, George R. Ash; Welcome talk, Benjamin Walker; Response, W. A. Cullimore; Duet, Ellen and Karl Millett; Solo, Richard Allred; Solo, Jesse Walker; Duet, Mrs. May R. and Mrs. Alta Walker; Solo, Alroy Gill-man Gill-man ; Short talk, Stake President W. W. Warnick. A dinner was served at 12:30 p. m. at the Lindon Hall, at which 246 persons per-sons were present. The number enjoying en-joying the dinner was exactly the same as last year. During the dinner "Tabby and Bun" of American Fork gave a number of very entertaining selections. After dinner the program continued continu-ed as follows: Reading, Florence Miller; Piano selection, Ardlith Wright; Reading, Bernice Allred; Piano solo, Jennie Walker; Reading, Mrs. Doris Rogers; Duet, Ora and Clara Ash; Solo, Randall Ran-dall Musgrove; Reading, Joseph Ash; Duet, Rose Gillman and Ruby Harper; Harp-er; Duet, Mrs. May R. and Mrs. Alta Walker; Short talks by President W. W. Warnick, Edmund Cragun, C. A. Cobbley and James Gillman. After the program, supper was served to all who desired to remain. In the evening all the aged people above 60 were guests at the Mutual play, "Poor Father" put on by the Lindon Ward Mutual. All other members mem-bers of the ward paid a small admission. admis-sion.
