Show OBITUARIES James Allbert Hind James Albert Hind, 64, lifelong resident of Smithfield where he was a prominent farmer, died Sunday about 4 a. m. in a Logan 'hospital after an illness of seven days. i He was born October 22, 1879 in Smithfield, a son of George and Hannah Plantt Hind. He was educated edu-cated in Cache county public schools and married Amy Coleman, Cole-man, December 12, 1906 in the Logan Lo-gan temple. '.. Active, throughout . his life in church work, he served in the Great Britain mission from 1909 to 1912 and filled a short term mission in the Eastern states. At the time of his death he was a high priest in the Smithfield 4th. ward. Mr. Hind was president of the tiogan Northern-Smithfield Canal "company. -. : Survivors include his widow, three sons and two daughters; Bernard Hind and Mrs. Wilda Plowman, Smithfield; Piatt and Spencer Hind, Salt Lake City and Mrs. Thelma Hoff, Logan; six grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Elizibe'th Cannal and Mrs. Susie Meikle, Smithfield. i Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Wednesday at 2 p. m. in the Smithfield Fourth ward chapel chap-el under direction of Bishop G. L. Res. Friends may call at the family home this evening and Wednesday until time of services. Burial in the family plot of the Smithfield cemetery will be under direction of the W. Loyal Hall mortuary. .. |
