Show Are Honored At Reception Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Porter announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, dau-ghter, Anna Zoe, to Jack William Fowles, son of Mr. and Mrs. IrvLn W. Fowles 2143 East, 3205 South, Salt Lake City. The ceremony was performed by Louis R. Anderson, president of the Manti LDS temple, Saturday, November 17, 1951 . The wedding party consisted of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Porter, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin W. Fowles Dr. and Mrs. Clair Porter, Bishop and Mrs. Frank Lyman, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Porter, Por-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Robison, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gardner and Mrs. Cyril Fowles. The parents of the bridegroom entertained at a wedding dinner immediately following fol-lowing the rites. The couple then left for a honeymoon trip to southern sou-thern Arizona. The following Saturday the couple cou-ple was honored at a reception at the Sutherland, ward meeting house. Comprising the bridal party were Mrs. Virginia Lyman, sister of the bride as matron of honor; Mrs. Jo Ann Piatt and Mrs. Barbara Christensen as bridesmaids. Ralph Miller stood as best man for the bridegroom. Mrs. Dawn Porter supervised the serving while Mrs. Thora Wind and Mrs. Deon Erickson poured, Mrs. Irene Brumlev and Miss Dorothy Brumley presided over the gift room. Patsy Brumley was in charge char-ge of the guest book. The bride wore traditional white satin entraine and carried a colonial col-onial style bouquet which was dup licated in the bridesmaids' flow-era. flow-era. Mrs. Porter chose an evening dress of dusty rose while Mrs. Fow les wore navy blue crepe. Kenneth Porter acted as master of ceremonies for the program, which consisted of a vocal duet by Larry Jones and Carmen Rose; Patsy Fowles, accordion solo; Elaine Ela-ine Sorenson Virginia Rose and Kay Moody, vocal trio. Mr. Fowles graduated from the Westminster College and has also served in the navy air force. The bride has completed her work at the USAC and is at present, teaching tea-ching at the Hinckley elementary school. |
