Show Attend Services For Mrs. Savage Funeral services for Mrs. Clara-belle Clara-belle M. Savage, 74, were held Monday at 1 p. m. in Antimony LDS ward chapel. Mrs. Savage died Nov. -21 in a Richfield hospital of a heart ailment. Membersof the family who attended at-tended the services from Delta were Mrs. Nell Watson Mr. and Mrs. Garth Tolbert, Mr.' and Mrs. Joe Barney, Mrs. Sarah Mc Cul-lough, Cul-lough, Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Mc Culough, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Daly, Mrs. Fern Sampson Mrs. Elva Stone. From Deseret were Mr. and Mrs. James Sampson, and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Tolbert from Abraham and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Greener, from Hinckley. Mrs. Savage was born Jan. 19, 1877, in Fillmore, a daughter of Henry J. and Helen Mar Callister Mc Cullough Millard pioneers. As a child she moved with her parents par-ents to Antimony. She was married mar-ried to Parley Franklin Savage in 1901, in the Manti temple, and the couple made their home in Antimony; Mr. Savage died in 1936. Her parents were early settlers of Delta, arriving in 1907. Mr. Mc Cullough was first postmaster and one Delta DUP camp is named for Mrs. McCullough. Their cabin in Delta is preserved by the Delta DUP camps. Although Mrs. 'Savage never lived in Delta, she was a frequent visitor of her sister, Mrs. Nell Watson and brother, the late Clark Mc Cullough. |
