Show HOLDEN. John Wood, Chronicle Representative. Representa-tive. We all had a rousing good lime last Friday, the 7th Inst., Relief Society So-ciety day. Meeting was held In the amusement hall at 2 o'clock, when an excellent program wa rendered, consisting con-sisting of speeches, songs, recitations, musical selections, etc. A dance was given in the evening, the OaV City orchestra furnishing the music. At 8 o'clock supper was served in the basement of the hall. Tables were set for over one hundred, hun-dred, and It was necessary to set the tables three times to feed those present. pres-ent. Quite a number were here from our neighboring towns, which we all appreciated, and extend a standing Invitation In-vitation to come again. On Saturday arternoon the children were given a dancear.J super. All seemed to enjoy It iiilmensely. The musicians remained over Saturday, Satur-day, to play for another party In the evening. We are having lovely warm weather, which I causing the fruit buds to show. In a short time our town will be a veritable flower garden. The farmers are all busy with spring work. The dry land grain never looked better than at present. From every indication there will be a bumper crop harvested this season. Of course, this will depend upon farmers taking the advice given recently by Professor Merrill, to harrow, harrow, harrow.
