Show Sutherland Pres. Morris, Pres. Moody and E. Eugene Gardner, stake clerk, visited Sutherland ward Sunday night and effected some changes in the ward bishopric. Thurman Moody and Bert Johnson, first and second counselors to Bishop Frank Lyman, and Reed Tippetts, ward clerk were released. Mr. Johnson was appointed to serve as first counselor in the ward, Mr. Tippetts second counselor and Morgan May as ward clerk. The visitors and members of the bishopric all spoke. I Mr. and Mrs. George R. Jackson from Salt Lake City, visited their children at Sutherland over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Frelen Shurtz and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Davis spent Sun- day in Moroni where they Visited Mr. and Mrs. La Var Shurtz and family. The Square Dance club of the North Tract held a meeting and dance in Woodrow hall Monday night. Clark Draper and Virgil D. Kimber were callers, and the music mu-sic was by the Sugarville ward record player. Supt. A. M. Maughan visited the Sutherland school Monday. |
