He brought some very choice: specimens of Avocado from his farm and distributed them among his friends. Mr. and Mrs. Vm. Stirling of Salt 1 Lake City were visiting relatives and friends in Milford last week. Mrs. R. F. Quoyle was a Milford visitor on Tuesday. She attended the meeting and banquet given by the Ladies' Society of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen, and returned home Tuesday night. Mrs. Stena Ward, of Sparks, Nev., grand vice president of the Ladies' Society of the B. of L. F. and E., was in Milford on official business last Tuesday. She attended a meeting of the local lodge and was guest of honor at a banquet given by the local lodge in the U. P. dining room that I evening. Dr. H. C. Hunter has gone to Cali- fornia for a brief stay. I Mrs. Wilson Moore was called to 1 Milford early this week on account of 1 the death of the infant daughter of 1 her sister, Mrs. Wallace Outzen. J Fireman Neeley spent several days in Salt Lake receiving medical treat- ment. J Miss Waldine Evans was stricken suddenly with appendicitis on Thurs- day evening of last week. Her sister, I Mrs. Ford accompanied her to Salt ' Lake where she was operated on last Saturday morning. She is improving rapidly and will be back with us s soon. |
