Show Workshop scheduled CEDAR CITY - The Rainbow Connection, a workshop designed to help individuals look their best, begins June 15 : at Southern Utah State College. The summer school offering is based around the successful manipulation of color, with each person's "color palette" used as the basis of wardrobe and make-up selection. Joann S. Bowns, associate professor of zoology at JL SUSC, is the instructor. The Rainbow Connection Con-nection was offered spring quarter at SUSC. It i is being offered again because of the popularity of the first class. Questions about the summer school workshop can be directed to Bowns at 586-7925. "It's been determined that people fall within four basic color categories, often referred to as spring, summer, fall or winter seasonal palettes," she said. "Once a person's palette has been determined, the information can be used for the selection of the most flattering colors in clothing, make-up and even home furnishings." The Rainbow Connection Con-nection will be weekdays, June 15-21, from 2 to 4 p.m. in Old Administration Ad-ministration 203. Registration can be completed at the first class meeting. Available as a credit or non-credit course, fees are $27 for one credit hour or $17 if taken on the non-credit basis. Class discussion will be supplemented with a great deal of printed material. |
