' ' , . i I ' ; i ' -. I ? . , ;z -j I ENOCH - The Enoch City Council selected Roger Hillyard to fill the unexpired term of Brent Foy at its regular bimonthly bi-monthly meeting Wednesday. Wed-nesday. ' Hillyard, who will begin immediately, was interviewed by the Council along with three other candidates for the position. In another matter, upon recommendation of Phil Eves, Enoch attorney, at-torney, it was decided not to sign the Utah Power & Light Company agreement on street lights. The agreement would not benefit the residents but would instead in-stead shift responsibility to the city of Enoch, he said. In other discussion on street lights, the Council decided to look into the cost of moving several Garden Park lights to strategic intersections throughout Enoch. However, no definite decisions were made. It was also announced that Community Block Grants, distributed by the Five County Association of Governments declared Enoch eligible for community project monies. The Council felt The American Folk Ballet wasn't the only dance company at the inauguration festivities Friday and Saturday. Susan Miller and the rest of the Thun-derettes Thun-derettes also celebrated the new president with dances throughout the day in the Adams Memorial Shakespearean Theater. |
