Show Mary Lou Seaman claimed by Paul Andersen $ - v -l Mr. and Mrs. R. Smoot Seaman announce the marriage of their daughter Mary Lou to Paul K. Anderson. Paul is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Anderson of Gunnison. The double ring ceremony was performed on Jan. 19, in the St. George LDS Temple. President Theron Ashcroft officiated. Following the ceremony a family dinner was held at the Town and Country restaurant in Cedar City. This was hosted by the groom's parents. During the dinner the group was entertained with singing by the bride's cousins. Participating were John, Mitch, Gaylene, Sallie, and Marilyn Seaman, Annette Wolford, and Kathryn and Tom Gutherie. During the dinner the bride had her trouseau on display. This was very artistically ar-tistically done by the bride's sisters, Susan, Sharon and Connie. The bride's dress was of nylon chiffon over taffetta. The empire waist was accented with wide lace which also banded the bottom of the gown. The full sleeves were decorated with cut out flowers of the same lace. Her short veil was held in place by a wide band of Iace flowers. She carried a bridal bouquet of red roses and pink carnations. Paul is a graduate of Gunnison High School and SUSC. He is employed in Gunnison. Mary Lou is a graduate of Cedar City High School and was a student at SUSC. For her going away outfit the bride chose a brown wool plaid pantsuit, with rust accessories. The young couple spent a week in southern California for their honeymoon. They are now making their home in Gunnison. |
