Clark Cedar City native, William Henry Clark. 92, died at the Valley View Medical Center Tuesday afternoon of natural causes. Services will be held Saturday, July 31, at 1 p. m. ,in the Cedar Second- Eighth Ward Chapel. ; Friends may call at the .Spilslbury and Graff Mortuary Friday from 8 to 9 p. m. and Saturday from 11:30 until time of services. : Burial will be in the Cedar City cemetary, ; One of the oldest residents ,of the county Mr. Clark was a prominent Livestockman th- roughout his life. He was active ac-tive in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has served as a temple worker. He was a High Priest in the Cedar Stake. ' He was born in Cedar City May 11, 1879 a son of James Merrit and Janett Coleman Clark. He married Mary Emma Em-ma Bauer Sept. 19, 1904 and the marriage , was later sol-omized sol-omized in the St. George Temple. She died Nov. 10, 1965. He married Mae Lang-ford Lang-ford Leigh Aug. 1, 1967 in it' ii Cedar City. Survivors include his wife, Cedar City; three daughters, Neonia Tollestrup, Cedar City; Alice Macfarlanee, Reno. Nev. and Rae C. Benson, Salt Lake City; three sons, Max and Kay, both of Cedar City and James Edward, Sulphur, Okla. In addition survivors include 29 grandchildren, 39 greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. |
