Show Parowan Resident Found Dead After All Night Search Clarence Skougard. 35, of Parowan, Par-owan, was found dead near his sheep camp north of Parowan early Tuesday morning after an all night search by nearly 150 men under the 'direction of Deputy Sherlfi Ray Adams. Skougard had died from injuries apparently received in a fall from his horse. The search was started when Skougards horse, still saddled, came into the outskirts of 'Parowan 'Paro-wan Monday afternoon. Searchercs were unable to locate the missing man until about daybreak Tuesday, when his body was found about 150 yards from camp. He had suffered a severe skull fracture, apparently from being I thrown Into a tree, or from a crash into the tree as his horse became lrichtene;'.. Ke h:d managed to crawl several yards from the scene (of the a'cident, but doctors report that his Injuries would have been fatal even had he been found soon after the accident. He is also re-jwrted re-jwrted to have lost much blood. I Mr. Skougard was born in Paro- wan on February 22.. 1911, a son of Thomas and Ettie Skougard.
