Show Open House To Honor Henries The children of James Ercil and Maxine Anderson Henrie have planned an open house for Saturday, April 21 in honor of their parents' golden wedding anniversary. The celebration will take place from 6 until 8 p.m at the Panguitch LDS Stake Center cultural hall for friends and relatives to honor the couple who returned to Panguitch in 1981 to retire. James Ercil Henrie, a native of Panguitch, married Maxine Anderson of Monroe at the Manti LDS Temple March 30, 1984. They lived in Panguitch where they reared their family until 1948. Mr. Henrie was a life insurance underwriter for many years. His wife, a writer, has authored two books, "The Proud Blood" is awaiting publication. The Henries are parents of three sons, E. Terry, Panguitch; Bruce, Las Vegas,; and Donald, San Jose, Calif, and two daughters, Mrs. Rudy (Sunny Lee) Konold and Mrs. Clayton (Nyla Ray) Leavitt, both Las Vegas. They have 32 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. |
