Show 12m fflfflWWuS Lynn W. Liston ESCALANTE Lynn W. Liston, Lis-ton, 66, passed away Apr. 4, 2000 at his home in Escalante. He was born May 6, 1932 in Escalante to Wilford and Alverda Spencer Liston. Lis-ton. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was talented in mechanics mechan-ics and drove log trucks for many years. Lynn was devoted to the care of his mother. He is survived by his mother, "Verda" of Escalante; twin brother, Lane (Geraldine) Liston of Escalante; Esca-lante; sister-in-law, Marie Liston of Panguitch; and several nieces and nephews He is preceded in death by his father and a brother, Donald Liston. Funeral services were held on Monday, Apr. 10 in the Escalante 1st LDS Ward Chapel, with Bishop Wade Barney officiating. The family prayer was offered by Galan Mitchell and prelude and postlude music was played by Areola Ar-eola Gates. The invocation was offered by David Owens. Emilee Liston, a niece, sang "He Healed Me," and tributes were given by Al Barlow, a home teacher; President Myron Cottam, and Bishop Wade Barney. Geraldine Liston, Deon Alvey, and Marlene Haws sang "In The Garden," accompanied by Areola Lynn W. Liston Gates. The benediction was offered by Gary Lane Liston, a nephew. Pallbearers were Gary Lane Liston, Lis-ton, David Owens, Glen Liston, Theron Mitchell, Garlan Mitchell, and Robert Liston. Honorary pallbearers pall-bearers were nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Devoe Scovil. Burial was in the Escalante Cemetery where Theron Mitchell dedicated to grave. Funeral directors: Neal S.
