Show with a total of 614,500 " visitors entering the park. The park Visitor Center is now open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. North Campground and all park roads and viewpoints will remain open until the first heavy snowfall. The Bryce Canyon Lodge closed October Octo-ber 1, but visitor accommodations accommo-dations are still available outside the park. The park is closed to hunting. hunt-ing. Possession of firearms in the park is prohibited. The park boundary is well marked, but anyone planning to hunt in areas adjacent to the park should stop at the park visitor center if they have any questions on park regulations. OBIWARIES Robert H. Woods Graveside services were held for Robert H. Woods, age 69, Milford, who died October 7, 1978 in Milford. Mr. Woods was born to Peter G. Woods and Jessie , Rachel Clark, in Pueblo, Colorado. He married Edith Boyls, June 13, 1931, in Gallup, New Mexico. Survivors include his widow, and mother, both of Milford; sons and daughter, Jimmie Woods, of Stoning-ton, Stoning-ton, Connecticut; Robert H. Woods, Jr., of Reno, Nevada; and Mrs. Carl (Agatha) Shryack, of Anchorage, Alaska. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, and a brother, Peter G. Woods, Milford. Graveside Services were held Tuesday, October 10, 1978, at 2:00 p.m. in the Milford City Cemetery. Interment was under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary. Milford. |
