Show f Lapoint I Lois Rasmussen I Phone 247 2475 Girl's camp held in Whiterocks Girl's camp was held at Whiterocks Canyon on July 7-10. Four girls from Lapoint attended with two leaders and one priesthood leader. They were: Nancy Nan-cy Green, Rhonda Shelton, Deanie McKee and Tanya McKee. Karen Frescus and Louise Bascom went along as the leaders with Jim Frescus as the priesthood leader. Earl and Mae Warburton traveled to Kaysville, Utah for the blessing of their great-grandchild, Joshua, July 5. Glen and Eunice Wright are the parents of a baby girl born May 11. The baby's name is Julianne. The little new baby girl of Art and Sandra McKee had to be taken to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City for treatment of a rare disease. She was there for 11 days, but home now and improving nicely. Dan and Pat Deakin are happy to have their new baby girl, born June 15, finally home with them. She was in the ICU at the Primary Children's Hospital for two weeks because she was five weeks premature. She is at home now and doing well. Her name is Angela. David and RaLayne Lundberg are parents of a new baby boy born June 4. He weighed 10 lbs. 7 oz. He is named Jes Reynold. Bruce and Gayla Harvey are happy for their new boy born June 17. He is named Bruce Jaron. Doug and Vickie Barnes traveled to Fontana, California for a vacation. They brought Doug's mother, Alice Barnes, back with them for a three week stay. Reed and Lois Rasmussen are the proud grandparents of twins, a boy and a girl, Nathan and Natalie, born June 2 to Doug and Shawna Dubrano of Layton, This past weekend Gerald and Clythella Trujillo with their daughter Terry and son Tony, also Roy and Linda Pickrell with their two sons Mike and Monty came to Ijipoint to work on the Rasmussen Memorial Park Playground getting it ready for the RasmuHKen reunion to be held July 17 and 18 |
