The news reached Salt Lake on Wednesday Wed-nesday of the serious illness of Merritt Ousley, the young koh of Mr. and Mrs. William Ousloy of Twin Bridges, Mont, liie little fellow received a gun'-shot L K-T wound in the hip. How serious the injury in-jury is can not be learned, and many friends in this city are exceedingly anxious to hear the particulars. Miss Lulu Meister and Mr. Richard Keenan were married at Rock Springs, Wyo., on Dec. 2G, by Rev. Father Dela-hanty. Dela-hanty. Miss Meister, now Mrs. Keenan, lis a beautiful and accomplished young i lady and a receipt graduate of St. ' Mary's academy in this city. Last June Mrs. Keenan left Salt Lake to re. ' side in Rock Springs. While there she I presided at the organ at the Catholic Church and endeared herself to the members of the church on account of her musical accomplishments. Mr. Keenan is the present mayor of Kemmerer Kem-merer and a young business man of great ability. The happy couple have gone east for a brief wedding tour and upon their return will make their home at Kemmerer. j |
