Show OCCURRENCES AT OAK CITY W. R. Walker, Chronicle Representative. Representa-tive. Mrs. Kalub Dutson was visiting her mother, Mrs. Annie C. Anderson, the past week. Mrs. Ann L. Anderson has returned from Suit Lake, where she has been under the doctor's caro for some time. Miss Sylva Lovell Is home once more. She has been staying with her sister, Mrs. Jos. S. Wells, at Salt Lake City. Lorenzo Chrlstt-nscn has been working work-ing his farm In Hurtnor the past two weeks. Hon. Ceo. K. Flnllnson, chairman of the Millard County Athletic committee, and Oak City's big "shot putter," met with a very painful accident last week. A horse kicked him on the right arm above the elbow. Ceorge was a sure point getter and his loss will be felt at the track meet. Couch Kawlinsoii will have to look around ami develop some new man to take his place. A most successful school year closed last Friday. This makes the third year for our local teachers, Mr. S. J. Kawlinson of Oak City, as principal, and Miss Kthel llarlon of Orton, us primary teacher. The teucherH gave a free dance Friday Fri-day night. Ice cream was served for all. Every lady hail a line time. Tim teachers should certainly be congratulated congrat-ulated on the good showing made by them the past three years. MIsb Harton has not only been successful suc-cessful as a teacher, but she has cup-lured cup-lured our big half-mile runner, and will return in about a month to make Oak City her future home. |
