The evening was spent In playing games and in dancing on the "brilliantly, lighted lawn, upon which two large tarpaulins were stretched for the occasion. "At midnight, a delicious buffet lunch was served to Mr. and Mrs. Jack Thiessenh Mr. "and" Mrs. Rue Neilson, Mr. ami Mrs. Al Kirk, Mri and Mrs. Melvin. Cowley, Mr. and Mrs. George Fernley, Mr. "and" Mrs" S. C. Riischmeier, Mr. -and-Mrs-KinHnel-CoonrMrr-Spencer Sohow, Mr.-and Mrs. Broyles, and the guests of honor. Mrs.- Melvin Cowley was hostess at a farewell party for Mrs. Baker, with members of Mrs. Baker's bridge club in attendance. Those present were Mesdames Kimmel Coon. Wm. BroyI-. es, Jack Thiessen, Rue Jfeilson, Alvin Kirk, George Fernley, Mrs. Hughes, special guest, and Mrs. Baker. While in Beaver last week visiting friends and relatives the Bakers were guests of honor at a dinner at the home of Mrs. C. - C. Shepherd on Thursday, and Friday they were entertained en-tertained at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Barton. |
