Show H. H. Harrison Services Held At Lewiston Lewiston The funeral services cf H. H. Harrison were held Monday Mon-day at 2 p. m. in the First ward auditorium with Dow Lewis of the bishopric in charge and Spencer Taggart at the organ and Marva Tibbits at the piano. Choir singing, ' Cast Thy Bread Upon the Water". Invocation was by A. B. Harrison of Logan. Vocal Vo-cal solo, "Face to Face", by Merl Cunningham, piano accompanist, Marva Tibbits. Talk, James Taggart. Tag-gart. Vocal duet, "Song of Hope" Mr. and Mrs. George Williams, accompanist, Laurna Brown. Talk Wm. Harrison of Cove. Vocal solo, "One Fleeting Hour?', by Effie Villett, accompanists, violin, Roland Johnson, piano, Marva Tibbits. Talk, President Saul E. Hyer, who also read a letter written to the family by Dr. J. M." Bernhisel. Vocal duet, "Going Home" by Florence and Rebecca Lewis of Richmond piano accompanist, accom-panist, Marva -Tibbits. Talk, Holger M. . Larsen of Logan and former president of the Danish mission. Closing remarks of appreciation by Bishop David O. Hendricks. Singing Sing-ing by choir, " We Lay Thee Softly Down". Benediction by M. M. Harrison of Richmond. Interment In-terment in Richmond cemetery. A mixed quartet, "Who- Are These Arrayed in White" by Edward H. Kemp, Hazen Bright, Myrtle Pond and Bella Kemp was rendered at the grave side. Grave was dedicated dedi-cated by Albert E. Bair of Salt Lake City. Edward H. Kemp, chorister, was In charge of the choir. Ruey Bernhisel and Eulalia Taggart, former councilors with Mrs. Harrison in Relief Societv. were in charge of the flowers. The auziliaiy ladies in costume stood on either side as the procession past through. W. M. Hendricks of Preston, undertaker. The auditorium -,. was filled to overflow with sympathic relatives and friends from various towns and cities of Utah, Idaho and California. This the beautiful floral display, the lovely music and the kind words that were spoken, by each speaker of the honest and courageous life of Mr. Harrison. A life full of love and kindness, of 'joy and service to his fellow men, always happy and cheerful even though in ill health, bespoke of the respect and love he and his family are held in the hearts of his many friends and relatives. Mr. Harrison has been an active civic and church worker. For 20 years he and his wife, Rae, have sang to funerals in every town and city of Cache valley, for a number of , years they rendered this service ( on an average cf a song a week and during the flu time their services were rendered sometimes three times (Jaily. For the past two and a half years Mr. Harrison's health has been such that he was unable to render ren-der this service that he loved so much. |
