Show '12 CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS IKSIBE-OUT A Christmas look outside as well as inside the stores will mark Sugar House this season. The chamber of commerce Christmas program committee, meeting with Chairman S. Morgan Sorensen this week, decided to urge all merchants and businessmen to decorate not only the store interiors, in-teriors, but the outside as well to lend atmosphere to the big shopping shop-ping season. "Santa's Sugar House" will be the theme of the merchants this winter, and elaborate displays of holiday trimmings will be made throughout the shopping area. "There is no question that Sugar House is the place to do your Christmas shopping," Chairman Sorensen said. "There is ample parking space near every single area. The stores will be stocked and decorated, inside and out, and the buying public will be made welcome," he added. Incidentally, leveling off of the parking area behind the First Security Se-curity bank by the city, marked the first step to improve the off-the off-the street parking lots for the greater convenience of shoppers. Just as a reminder, the chamber of commerce pointed out again that Armistice Day, November 11, would be a regular business day in Sugar House. Turkey Days will conclude at 9 p. m. tonight with the awarding of final prizes. |
