Show EMC TEACHERS, PARENTS GET ACQUAINTED East Mill Creek Elementary school Parent-Teachers Association held a get-acquainted tea last Thursday at the school. Co-chairmen of the event were Mrs. Louis N. Bagley and Mrs. Theodore Hackett. Violin music was furnished by Mrs. Don Summers, accompanied by Mrs. Bagley. j Presiding at the tea table were Mrs. Everett Wood, president of Granite Council P-T A and Mrs. A. J. Dean, teacher representative. Serving were pupils of the school, namely Karen Thompson, Connie Bain, Kathie Bagley, Donna Moench, Sandra Mallory, Elaine Mott, Marilee Standard and Sydney Syd-ney Lammers. Eighty guests were served, including room representatives, representa-tives, teachers and P-T A officers. P-T A officers, all of whom were in the receiving line, are Mrs. E. O. Thompson, Mrs. L. Roland Bain, D. Eugene Moench and Mrs. Allen Johnston. Mrs. Raymond Mallory, Mrs. Ralph J. Murray and Mrs. Kenneth B. Reese assisted in charge. The table was centered by a cornucopia, flanked by fall flowers. ing to Mrs. Vilate McAllister, camp captain. Subject of the lesson will be "Mormons in Canada" to be given by Mrs. Wilma Burdett. A pioneer autobiography will be given by Mrs. Margaret Cluff. Hostesses will be Mrs. Dunyon, Mrs. Cluff and Mrs. Mary Cornwall. |
