J B B. tho the benedi benediction tiOn The grave in the City cemetery was dedicated b by James Mon Mon- s sen n. n Mrs Madsen n was n born In Syrl- Syrl land Denmark December 23 1837 She came to America in 1857 arriving in Salt Lake LakeIth with Ith Captain Cowleys Cowley's company In September of the same sarno year From there she moved to Brigham ham Ctt City where she was married to Mads P. P Madsen I They moved to Ephraim In 1858 and camo to Mount Pleasant with the original pio plo pioneers pioneers I in 1859 1869 She was the mother of oC eight children I four of whom survive namely Hans Madsen of ot Andrew 0 O Hyrum and Christian T. T Madsen all alI all of ot Mount Pleasant also 38 IS grandchildren and 30 great great grandchildren survive |
