It became be-came known hero yesterday that Tex Rlekard is the man back of the scheme to take two all-American baseball teams on a tour of this country coun-try when the regular season ends. His man in Cincinnati, who is handling the money for the teams and who will conduct them on their tour, Is D. A. Fletcher. The teams, it Is said, will go to the ten largest cities in this country. A club composed of National league players will play against a club composed com-posed of American league men. In the Msr of National league men are: Konetchy of St Louis, first base; Doyle of New York, second; Wagner of Pittsburg, shortstop, Devlin of New York, third base; Bescher and Mitchell 01 Cincinnati, left and right Held; Ilofman of Chicago, center; Gibnon of Pittsburg, and Breshnahan of St. Louis, catchers; Rucker of Brooklyn, Brown of Chicago, and Mathewsnn of New York, pitchers. The American league men are; Chase, of New York, first base: La-jole La-jole of Cleveland, second base; Wallace Wal-lace of St. louls, shortstop; lxrd of Chicaeo, third base. Speaker of Boston, Bos-ton, Cobb and Crawford of Detroit, outfielders; Stanage of Detroit, and Canigan of Boston, catchers; Ford of New York.
