Show ROOSEVELT FILM TO BESEENATORPIEUI Thrilling Moving Picture to Be Shown for Benefit of Teachers. The personalis- authorizej motion picture pic-ture of the life unci works of. Theodore Roosevelt, which has been creating such widespread interest throughout ' the i United States, is lo be presented in Salt Lake, Monday, March 31. and Tuesday, April 1. at the Orpheuni theater, in special spe-cial benefit performances for the Salt Lake City Teachers' association. Announcement v.'as made yesterday that the sale of tickets for the special showing here of "The Fighting Koose-vells," Koose-vells," as the picture has been named, will begin immediately. All the proceeds of the six shows to be given will be turned over to the school teachers' fund, whicli was depleted during the recent influenza in-fluenza epidemic.. "The Fighting Roosevelts" follows the strenuous career of the late ex-president as the legislator fighting corrupt politicians, politi-cians, his exciting experiences in the wild west, his return to politics as police commissioner-of New York City, through his rough rider days of the Spanish-American war and through all. the strenuous events connected with his occupancy of ! the executive chair. H shows I he "most I interesting American" in the eventful years of his life and bears out the oft-repeated oft-repeated assertion that the strangest fiction fic-tion is truth. Real comedy, drama, pathos and tragedy trag-edy enrich the picture and make of it a splendid evening's entertainment, as well as an . inspiration to true .Americanism. "The Fighting Roosevelts" was authorized author-ized by the former president before his death, 'with the underslanihng that all profits that might accrue for himself or his familv were to be given to the Ked Cross until the return of the. last soldier from France. He himself furnished from his personal memoirs and diary many of the exciting bits of history never before revealed, and these make the lihn all the more interesting. It shows him as a boy, legislator, cowboy, as well as a statesman, states-man, and always righting with bulldog courage and tenacity, and always vicior against tremendous odds. There will be two matinees daily on each day of the picture's local run at l be Orpheum, starting at 2:M and -I p. ill. One evening performance will be gien each day, beginning at S:"0 o'clock.
