Show UN SE1TE PONDERS LEAGUE j Resolutions Providing for Nation's Participation Are Introduced, I MEXICO CITY, March 19. There were made public today resolutions introduced in the Mexican seriate, but not yet acted upon, in connection with the league of nations project. One of the resolutions resolu-tions expresses "sympathy and admiration" admira-tion" for President Wilson and the other declares the Mexican senate "wishes that the noble democratic proposals of President Presi-dent Wilson, which it admires and applauds." ap-plauds." be realized, and manifests its desire de-sire that if it has the opportunity the Mexican republic form a part of the proposed pro-posed league of nations. Thus far the resolutions have been the only expression available in any way indicating in-dicating Mexico's stand' relative to the proposed league. No official statements have been forthcon liner. The resolution rcernrdinff the league of nations was introduced December 13, Just before the adjournment of the senate, upon tho completion of the first haif of the present session. Its appearance in print today was the first intimation that such action had been officially projected. The lack of a quorum was griven as the reason tho resolution was not acted upon.
