Show PAYS DIVIDENDS ON 'DEAD' STOCK Dividends to the amount of $33 will be paid today on two certificates of Yankee Oonsolidatert Mining company stock, the certificates having been missing for a period of nenrlv nine years. Delinquent assessment as-sessment sales, dated March 21 and July la. tarn, took the certificates from the owner into the hands of the company i-nd thev were net redeemed or claimed. Since then it lias been discovered, alter efforts 10 trace their original owner, that they belonged to the estate of a man who died years ago in'an asylum' in fJngland. It was likewise found that before the sale they had accumulated in divi dends and that the estate was in the care of the Columbia Trust company. .Mr. Canfleld said .that he was sending p. check to the trusl company to pay the dividend, as the holder of the certificates or his heirs were entitled to the money. |
